Managing Director
Eric founded Angus Commodities which builds upon his passions for international trade, geo-politics and commodity industry segments.
Eric brings over 15 years of cumulative professional experience, which spans Defence, FMCG, Financial Technology and Physical Commodities industry segments.
Building upon his international experience, he has been able to shape the company’s strategic direction which has resulted in his ability to provide seamless and efficient advisory and transaction services to buyers and suppliers worldwide. Under his guidance, Angus Commodities has expanded its portfolio to service a diverse range of client types. He is committed to the ensuring the sustained growth of the business across all key regions.
His vision is to ensure that the firm continues to evolve with the everchanging commodities landscape, offering clients unparalleled market expertise across the globe.

Julian Bhatia
Vice President – Marketing & Origination
Julian Bhatia joined Angus Commodities in 2024 as Vice President within the Marketing & Origination division, reporting to Managing Director Eric Danquah. He leads strategic marketing initiatives and origination efforts with a focus on banks, funds, broker-dealers, and asset management firms.
Julian began his career at Credit Suisse before moving into senior roles at TMF Group and EMFI Group, where he managed business development and institutional sales across EMEA, LATAM, and APAC. His global experience has equipped him with deep market knowledge, allowing him to successfully drive growth and forge long-lasting client partnerships.
At Angus Commodities, Julian leverages his broad expertise to expand the company’s footprint in the global commodities market, delivering tailored solutions to clients and helping guide the company’s strategic direction. He is recognized for his leadership and ability to build high-performing teams that consistently exceed business goals.
